In Iran, our government sends some santa claus to streets and they give gifts to our Christian compatriots. They give gifts to children and their parents. One year I gave a Persian evangel from a santa claus. I think your Christmas will start about 12 hours later. Now, Iran time is about 11:30 p.m. only 30 minutes to new Christian year.

Dear Bahman, Happy Western New Year to you. I'm still confused as to why your government singles out Christians to have Santa deliver presents to. Big question mark????
In America, anyone in real need gets help from the government regardless of religion. Do Muslims also get governmental help? I assume this is the case.

2. Also, for the sake of clarity, let me tell you that our Christmas was about a week ago, Dec. 25 on our calendar. Today is New Year's Day, January 1, 2011 CE Thank you for wishing me a Happy New Year.
